General Information
Every renter must leave the studio in the exact condition they found it. I want every person to arrive to a clean, ready to use space and have their creativity unfold. It is expected that you use all provided furniture, props, and accessories with respect and care. The renter is responsible if damages are caused or if items are broken.


• All furniture has felt pads for easy movement.

• Access to the studio space requires 2 sets of stairs
• 
No outdoor shoes in the studio space (clean shoes must be brought and put on)
• No nudity / boudoir
• No alcohol inside the studio space
• Pets are not permitted in the studio
• There is a maximum of 10 people allowed in the studio at a time
• 
There is a white floor mat and if it is scuffed during your session, PLEASE ensure you use a provided magic eraser to clean it before the next renter uses it.

Booking & Payment
• Full payment is required to confirm your reservation.
• A card is kept on file from your booking in the event there are damages / staying beyond allocated booking time.
• Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.
• The renter must be at least 18 years of age.

Rental Period
• Your rental period begins and ends at the exact times booked.
• Setup, styling, client arrival, cleanup, and teardown must all take place within your reserved time.
• Please allow enough time at the end of your booking to return the studio to its original condition.
• Overtime will be billed in 15-minute increments if your rental extends beyond your reserved end time.
• Repeated late departures may result in future booking restrictions.

Self Check-In
• A lock box code as well as a keypad unique access code will be provided via email prior to your booking.
• Access codes are for the booking holder only and may not be shared.
• Access is only permitted during your reserved rental period.
• The renter is responsible for ensuring the studio is locked and secured upon departure.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
• Cancellations made 24 hours before the booking will receive a one time studio credit to reschedule, subject to availability.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking are non-refundable and not eligible for a reschedule.

Studio Capacity
• Maximum occupancy is 10 people unless otherwise approved.
• Children must remain supervised at all times. The studio has delicate items and if any items are broken the renter is responsible for the cost.

Respect for the Studio

Renters agree to:
• Leave the studio in the same condition it was found.
• Return all furniture, props, decor, and equipment to their original locations.
• Dispose of all garbage and personal belongings.
• Report any damage before leaving.
• Clean up any mess made (there will be a vacuum/magic erasers for the floor mat if needed).

Damage & Liability

The booking holder accepts full financial responsibility for any damage caused during the rental period by themselves or anyone accompanying them. Golden Reverie Studio reserves the right to charge the renter card on file for the full cost of repair, replacement, cleaning, or restoration resulting from damage.

Damage includes, but is not limited to:
• Broken furniture or decor
• Torn fabrics or curtains
• Damage to walls or flooring
• Stained furniture
• Broken equipment
• Excessive wear beyond normal use
• Missing or stolen items

Paper Backdrops
Paper backdrops are provided for normal portrait use. The paper is delicate and should be used with caution to maximize longevity. NO outdoor shoes on paper or floor mats. It is best if you have two people moving the C-stands.

Furniture & Props
• You have full access to use of what is in the space which includes chairs, decor props, desks, paper backdrops, fabric backdrops, etc.
• Do not stand on chairs, sofas, tables, or other furniture unless specifically intended for that purpose.
• No items can be removed from the studio space.
• Please handle all furniture and props with care.

Prohibited Items & Activities
The following are strictly prohibited:
• Smoking or vaping
• Alcohol
• Open flames or candles
• Fireworks or sparklers
• Glitter
• Any activity that may permanently damage the studio / can’t be removed at the end of your session.

Food & Beverages

Please keep food and drinks away from furniture, fabric backdrops and paper backdrops. If food or beverages are brought in the space, the renter assumes responsibility of all parties involved and if there is any stains or damages, understands there may be cleaning or replacement cost involved.

Security Cameras

Security cameras monitor common areas of the premises for safety and security. Recorded footage may be reviewed in the event of damage, theft, emergencies, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.

Personal Property

Golden Reverie Studio is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, equipment, or valuables left on the premises.

Assumption of Risk

The renter assumes all responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their guests while using the studio. Golden Reverie Studio is not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses resulting from use of the space, furniture, equipment, or props.

Indemnification

The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Golden Reverie Studio, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the renter’s use of the premises.

Force Majeure

Golden Reverie Studio shall not be held liable for cancellations or interruptions resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, power outages, internet outages, building emergencies, or acts of government.

Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

The renter acknowledges that the use of Golden Reverie Studio, including its furniture, props, décor, equipment, lighting, and other amenities, involves inherent risks. By entering the premises, the renter and all guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the studio.

Golden Reverie Studio, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, accident, loss, theft, or damage to persons or personal property arising from or related to the use of the studio, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

The renter accepts full responsibility for the safety, supervision, and conduct of themselves and all individuals entering the studio under their reservation. This includes, but is not limited to, clients, models, photographers, assistants, makeup artists, stylists, family members, children, and any other guests.

The renter agrees to use the premises, furniture, props, and equipment safely and only for their intended purpose. Any use of ladders, stools, furniture, movable walls, lighting equipment, or other studio items is done entirely at the renter’s own risk.

Indemnification

The renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Golden Reverie Studio, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, legal fees, or expenses arising from or related to the renter’s use of the premises, the actions of the renter or their guests, or any breach of these Terms & Conditions, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Agreement
By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and accept full responsibility for your reservation, your guests, and any activities occurring during your rental period.
